The Dutch artists and designers Henk Bezemer and Frank van Oosten have been collaborating since the early 1990s under the common name Mishmash, based in Rotterdam.

Now their focus is mainly on assemblage art and paintings, but they also design entire interiors for hotels and public spaces in which art plays a prominent role.

Fine ART pop-up

Until recently, Mishmash brought together artists and designers in short-term exhibitions in their own gallery. With the gallery now closed, a new chapter begins in November 2025: Fine ART Pop-up – a series of temporary shows at diverse locations across the city, curated by Mishmash.

Each exhibition focuses on art in all its forms, where the boundaries with design often blur. Throughout the design and installation process, Henk and Frank keep a close eye on balance and cohesion, complementing the show with their own work when it adds accents or strengthens the theme.

Mishmash offers both emerging and established artists a platform and believes in equal opportunities for everyone, regardless of background, age, or gallery representation.
