Assemblages are composite objects. To this purpose we collect at flea markets and auctions a mixture of stuffed animals, marble objects, steel and copper parts of tools, antique utensils, jewelry or distinctly expensive materials and nature finds, to then dismantle the lot, combine them and reassemble. There is no hierarchy of materials, they are all equally valuable and chosen precisely for their aesthetics, emotional charge or brute force. 

The final results are sophisticated creations reminiscent of antique showpieces or fetish sculptures. Each artwork tells its own story, full of metaphors and persiflages that scrutinize our contemporary society.
